Gift Curator & Product Stylist

Location: St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
Company: Party & Presents
Employment Type: Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week • In-person • Opportunity to grow into full-time

Help us make gifting more meaningful

At Party & Presents, we believe the best gifts make people feel seen, valued, and appreciated. We’re growing our personal and corporate gifting collections and looking for a creative, resourceful Gift Curator & Product Stylist to bring thoughtful gift ideas to life, from the first concept to the finished presentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop original gift ideas and curated collections for holidays, employee and client appreciation, welcome gifts, milestones, and other occasions.

  • Select products that suit the recipient and budget; research suppliers, local makers, samples, lead times, and costs.

  • Design and assemble gift prototypes, including packaging, personalization, cards, ribbons, and the unboxing experience.

  • Style and photograph finished gifts for our online store and marketing; capture simple short-form product and unboxing videos.

  • Prepare repeatable product guides with item lists, supplier links, cost estimates, packaging instructions, and reference photos.

  • Collaborate with production, design, and marketing teammates to launch approved collections and refine products based on feedback.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong eye for colour, composition, quality, and thoughtful details.

  • Practical creativity: you can turn an idea into a gift that is attractive, affordable, and reproducible.

  • Confidence styling and taking clear, appealing product photos (professional studio experience is not required).

  • Good organization, research skills, initiative, and attention to detail.

  • Experience in gifting, visual merchandising, product styling, photography, retail buying, event styling, or a related creative field is an asset, not a requirement.

What Success Looks Like

In your first month, we’d aim to develop 4–6 approved gift offerings with finished prototypes, estimated costs, photographs, sourcing information, and clear instructions for production. Quality and thoughtfulness matter more than volume.

Hours and Compensation

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with scheduling to be agreed. Additional hours may be available during peak gifting seasons. Compensation will be based on experience and skills.
